Compare DukaanMatic Local and paid Cloud plans by access, connectivity, backups and migration needs before choosing your business workspace.
Choose Local for device-based operations
Local operational records are stored on your device. Essential desktop workflows can continue offline, but your business must protect the device and keep usable backups. The first year includes updates and support; the later optional renewal is ₹299 plus GST per year.
Choose Cloud for connected access
Cloud and Cloud Plus are separate paid subscriptions. Connected access depends on an eligible active service and internet connectivity. Review the plan limits and backup terms instead of assuming every record has already synchronised.
Move records through a verified migration
Use the Local-to-Cloud or Cloud-to-Local workflow to prepare a final archive, check the destination and confirm records before cutover. Cloud-to-Local completion follows the paid-term eligibility rules. Uploading a recovery file alone does not change the authoritative storage mode.
Understand backup fees before exporting
Local backup download and restore are free. Cloud-plan backup downloads cost ₹2 per backup from the wallet, including a Cloud-to-Local migration archive. Retrying the same paid backup is free. Uploads and Local-to-Cloud exports have no per-backup export fee; Cloud service charges remain separate.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move from Local to Cloud later?
Yes. An active eligible Cloud service and the verified migration workflow are required to transfer and check the business records.
Can I recover Cloud records into Local?
Use the Cloud-to-Local migration workflow and its signed archive. Complete the record checks and approvals; expiry alone does not automatically convert the workspace.
